Clients have full legal title to wines purchased through Wilson Douglas. Wines are placed into individual Client Trust Accounts held at Vinotheque and can only be removed with the Client’s signature, the signatory acting for an institution or that of a beneficiary in the event of death. Clients are free to remove wines from bond at any stage providing they pay VAT and Duty.
Wines can also be held in joint names or company names, however clients should be aware that this may affect their right of access to the account and are encouraged to seek advice from their accountant or lawyer to avoid ambiguity.
